The first Creative Spot location in Belgium, situated in the heart of Liege, the Centre de création des Tanneurs exists since 2010 on the river bank of the Meuse. It comprises not less than 500 square meters, hosting about 30 multi-disciplinary artists and creative professionals.

Who are we?

Our network gathers spaces which foster meetings and synergies between creatives, by offering shared and diverse work space that answers their needs.

What is it?

We propose a complex of spaces for work, research, hosting of meetings, all characterised by conviviality, collective intelligence and professionalism.

Why?

Experience shows how stimulating it can be to pull together experience, knowledge and resources within a shared work space. In addition of generating synergy, it also improves productivity of creative professionals.

Our spaces featuring complementary specificities are focused on sharing dynamics, proximity between residents and cross-fertilisation of projects. This collective dimension enables raising visibility of each creative.

For whom?

Our community of residents and tenants is comprised essentially of artists and creative, established professionals and those looking to better their skills. This target audience is completed by individuals and projects which contribute to the delivery of artistic and creative projects or similar initiatives.

Beyond the sharing of work space, we strive to gather a genuine community of creatives, to build a network of individuals gravitating within the creative trade.

By who ?

These spaces are able to respond to the needs of creatives because they are managed by professionals coming from an artistics or creative background. This enables mutual understanding and flexibility to adapt spaces to the needs of the tenants. The managers apply the principles of social economy.

We aim to spark mutual reflexes and cooperative solutions, and we are open to any initiative or project that shares our practices and ambitions.
